This project is aimed to teach many young people to learn basic skills such as cooking, sewing, budget management, washing their clothes, ironing, and washing their dishes. House maintenance, how to paint walls, change bulbs. We have agreed to include planting and growing their vegetables in their houses. This initiative can also help them to save money in their shopping and eat healthily.

Read More]]> GO4 can provide the catering for your buffet or sit down meal. We can accommodate up to 25 people at our Cafe on the Rec (Recreation Ground, Old Heath). Below are photos of the kind of food we can provide for a buffet meal. We can also provide Tapas, or Gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan. Please ask if you have other dietary requirements and we are sure we can come up with a suitable choice of menu.

There is a hire fee (to cover staffing, heating & lighting, insurance etc) of £60 for 3 hours hire. Menu costs vary, depending on the exact choice of menu but start at £7.99 a head for the basic buffet menu. Tapas menu is £9.99 a head. It’s that time of year again. Time for the fantabulous Trinity Street Festival! It takes place Sunday 21st May from 11 am to 4 pm. Grab yourself a flyer from any fo the participating businesses in Trinity Street and you will be able to claim £1 off a glass of wine at GO4 Market Cafe!

Entry to the festival is entirely free and there will be lots of fun stuff going on. This includes Flamenco dancing at GO4 Market Cafe, provided by the London-based artists ‘Flamenco y Danza’. GO4  Market Cafe will be serving its delicious home-cooking, fresh coffee (with a conscience), freshly made sandwiches, cakes and biscuits.

Come along, have lots of fun (for all the family) and support a good cause at the same time. We look forward to seeing you.

Street homelessness is rising, so we started a Breakfast and hot meal scheme with our customers and supporters  (September 2016) donating £5 for a voucher, it caught on.

We realise this doesn’t fix the problem so we also are now talking to other agencies about acquiring and converting a bus for emergency accommodation, utilising a community facility for showering and night time cafe.

We require on-going funding for the Breakfast scheme and also to initiate the Bus programme.

Currently, we operate free from grants and purely on our commercial interests and patronage of our customers. Please support us as we attempt to significantly reduce the sight of people sleeping in doorways, car parks, tents in and around Colchester.

The Bus Project needs to dovetail with existing provisions, not duplicating or competing with.

For this to get off the ground and to maintain our PayItForward scheme we need your support.
