We managed to raise our target of £600 on JustGiving for our meals for the homeless. We are so grateful for everyone who donated and supported. Not only were folk generous via the fundraising page but also many came in and gave cash or cheques towards the project.
We would also like to thank the local TUC who raised money towards the project at a local event held at the Waiting Room.
Over the Christmas period, we will be providing many more hot meals through everyone’s generosity. This will make an enormous difference to so many people who otherwise would have to either go without or make tough decisions on what else to forgo instead.

It’s business as usual in the Market Cafe Holy Trinity Church, Trinity St, whilst negotiations continue with Colchester Borough Council with regard to the lease and refurbishment of the building.
