GO4 Market Cafe is heading towards it’s 3rd anniversary this May and the last year has been a momentous and exciting one for us, with lots of new additions.

Licensed Bar

GO4 Market Cafe successfully applied to get Holy trinity a licensed premises, and we are now proud hosts of the Spanish themed bar Bodega la Iglesia. The bar opened n the summer to much excitement bringing cocktails, sherries, vino and sangria… as well as tapas.  Although through the winter months hours have reduced you can still get a drink Monday-Saturday during cafe hours; and come spring (ad on special events) the bar can frequently be found open until 10pm.

New Appointment of Catering/Cafe Manager

We were thrilled with the appointment of Pepi to our team in the cafe.  She head up the cafe bringing in her wake some beautiful additions to our menu with regular.  The tapas started as part f the Bodega la Iglesia bar and proved so popular that it transitioned to the cafe 6 days a week.  With daily specials and vegan options as well as traditional meat eaters tapas there is something for everyone.  Pepi will also be helping to train up our volunteers, staff and apprentices in the cafe and in our other projects as they arrive.

The Market

Our market goes form strength to strength with regular traders still trading, with had some changes and welcome Vintage to Vogue as well as Art Effects.  Our pop-ups have now returned, with dedicated pop up space near the market cafe entrance and adjacent to the tower.  Pop-ups have proved a great way for start up local businesses to test out new products or business.  Pop ups are available from as little as £12 a day, and discounts are available for charities.  Contact janine@go4enterprises.org for details.

Since we reconfigured the market layout, so that the cafe is placed central in Holy Trinity we have been able to add in several new glass cabinets selling goods from GO4 Vintage (another branch of GO4 Enterprises) as well as other independent local traders, icluding Ina Scott, Cannon Antiques, Comics and Cogs and others.  If you are interested in taking on a cabinet space please contact janine@go4enterprises.org to join the waiting list.
