Colchester Job Fair

Its that time again – Colchester Job Fair is here again. It takes place at the Town Hall on Weds 27th August between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. If you’re looking for a job then make sure you pay a visit. The event is free and is sponsored by Systematic.

The Jobs Fair is open to everyone and there are hundreds of local Jobs. It is free admission with requirement to register for job hunters with local Businesses available to speak with in person on the day and who are actively looking to talk to local people to fill their job vacancies, local employers include, Systematic Logistics International, IGUS, I Want To Foster, Jark Healthcare, Excel Care, Zero Three Care Homes and Allied Healthcare.

Job hunters can get the immediate attention of Employers and speak with them in person and can get an quick response when looking for a new job, Employers are really keen to talk with local applicants to see if they can hire you for their vacancy and as you can see from the quote above it is super-efficient for both the Businesses to recruit and the local people looking for their next job. Jobs Fairs are open to anyone looking for a better or a new Job. The job fair is open to anyone from school leavers onwards.

Go4 has joined NCVO!

NCVO-Member-logo-2014 Go4 Enterprises is now a member of the National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). The NCVO is a champions of volunteering and civil society, with over 10,000 members, from the largest charities to the smallest community organisations. Interestingly, the NCVO started in 1919 as the National Council of Social Services, following a legacy from Edward Vivian Birchall, who died of wounds in France during World War I.

Go4 will benefit from being part of a national organisation dedicated to the third sector and able to speak on our behalf with Government and other policy makers. It will also make it easier for our voice to be heard and to speak out for those we seek to help who may not have a voice of their own.

Milena, our Marketing Intern, has been busy, with help from various individuals, in carrying out some market research of both existing customers and members of the general public. We will soon be publishing some of the results but already we have been able to draw some interesting and important conclusions from the preliminary analysis. The end result will be that we will have a better understanding of our profile and the kinds of people who are our customers. This will help us to both improve our service and also increase our customer base, very important if we are to become a fully sustainable business. Without that we will be limited in the impact we can make in helpign unemployed peopele get back into work and/or training.
